Connect Airbnb and Booking.com (Channex)
In Setup checklist go to Connect your channels and press Request Channex connection. We then contact you to connect each channel with you: Airbnb by signing in to your own Airbnb host account, Booking.com by choosing Channex as your connectivity provider in the Booking.com extranet. You keep your own OTA logins; bookings flow into Smart Studios and close those dates everywhere.
Watch: Connect Airbnb and Booking.com (Channex)
Smart Studios connects to Airbnb and Booking.com through Channex, a channel manager. Once connected, a booking on any channel closes those dates on your website and on every other channel, and rates you set in Rates & Restrictions go out to the OTAs.
Before you start
- Your Airbnb host account with a complete host profile, and/or your Booking.com extranet login
- Your rooms and base rates added in Setup checklist
- Request the connection
Open Setup checklist → Connect your channels and press Request Channex connection. The step then shows Connection requested.
- We contact you
We contact you to book a short call and confirm which listings belong to which rooms.
- Connect Airbnb
On the call you sign in to your own Airbnb account and allow the connection. Your password is never shared with us.
- Connect Booking.com
In the Booking.com extranet, choose Channex as your connectivity provider and share your hotel ID with us.
- Check the sync
We map each listing to a room and send your availability and rates. The step turns green when rooms are mapped.
Do I keep my Airbnb reviews and Booking.com ranking?
Yes. The listings stay yours; Channex only updates their availability and rates and passes bookings to Smart Studios.
What if two channels book the same night?
The second booking is held for review and our team is alerted at once; it is never dropped silently.
Which other channels work?
Airbnb and Booking.com today. Ask us about others; they depend on Channex support.
