Invite your staff to the Smart Studios platform
In the admin console open Setup checklist and go to Invite your staff. Enter the person’s name, email, an optional mobile number and their role, then press Send invite. They get an email with a one-time link (valid 7 days) to choose their own password, then sign in at mysmartstudios.com/login and land in the app for their role.
Watch: Invite your staff to the Smart Studios platform
Only the organisation admin (the person who set up the workspace) can invite staff. Every staff member gets a login of their own, so you can see who did what, and nobody shares a password.
Before you start
- Each person’s name and a work or personal email address they can open
- Their role: front desk / property manager, housekeeping supervisor or staff, maintenance technician, kitchen / pantry, security / gate, or driver
- Open Invite your staff
Sign in to the admin console, open Setup checklist and scroll to Invite your staff. People you have already invited are listed there with their role.
- Enter their details
Type their name and email. A 10-digit Indian mobile number is optional.
- Choose their role
The role decides which app they land in: the admin console for the front desk, the Housekeeping app, the Maintenance app, the Pantry app, the Security app or the Transport app.
- Send the invite
Press Send invite. They get an email from the Smart Studios platform, on your behalf, with a one-time link to choose their password. The link works once and expires after 7 days.
- They sign in
After choosing a password they sign in at mysmartstudios.com/login with their email and go straight to the app for their role. Tasks for their department reach them there.
The invite says the email or mobile already has a login. What now?
Each email and mobile number can belong to one login only. Use another email for the staff member, or ask them to use the login they already have elsewhere.
Can staff see other properties’ data?
No. A staff login belongs to your organisation, and the database itself keeps every organisation’s data apart.
